Potomac Hospital Nursing - Full Scholarship Program
April 8, 2008 – 9:19 pmIf so, the Potomac Hospital Nursing Scholarship Program can help you by providing financial assistance and professional mentoring. After graduation, you’ll have a chance to put your skills into practice by working at Potomac Hospital.
One- and two-year full scholarships covering all in-state tuition costs and other eligible expenses, such as textbooks and uniforms, will be awarded to eligible students who are completing an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Nursing at Northern Virginia Community College or Germanna Community College.
To be eligible for the scholarships, you must be either a Potomac Hospital employee, a member of the Potomac Hospital Auxiliary, a Prince William or Stafford County resident, a Prince William County School of Practical Nursing second-year student or graduate, a Northern Virginia Community College first-year nursing student, or a Germanna Community College first-year nursing student. Others may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Students who receive scholarships are required to fulfill a one- or two-year commitment to work full-time as a Nurse Clinician at Potomac Hospital upon graduation. Those who are unable to do this will be required to reimburse Potomac Hospital on a prorated basis.
