Central Christian College of The Bible provides Full-Tuition Scholarship
April 8, 2008 – 8:46 pmCentral Christian College of the Bible provides a full-tuition scholarship for every full-time student. This scholarship drastically reduces the cost of attending college and provides students the opportunity to graduate without the burden of educational debt.
This full-tuition scholarship may last for four or more years, so long as the student is enrolled as a full-time student. Also, this scholarship will increase with any future increases in tuition in order to ensure that 100% of tuition is covered by scholarship.
No student will receive a scholarship or combination of scholarships from CCCB in excess of the tuition costs of attending Central. However, the presence of outside scholarships or grants will not reduce the CCCB full-tuition scholarship amount. The Central scholarship(s) will be credited to the student’s account if he or she meets all eligibility and maintenance requirements after 60% of the semester has been completed. The total full-tuition scholarship may consist of various individual scholarships depending upon the qualifications, need, and grade-point average of the recipient student.
To pay for living expenses and other costs, several different resources are available for the student desiring an education at Central Christian College of the Bible.
Central participates in the following federal programs: PELL Grants, FSEOG, Federal Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford student loans, and Federal PLUS loans. In addition, a limited number of on- and off-campus Federal Work-Study jobs are available to qualified students.
ELIGIBILITY AND MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS
- A student must be enrolled at Central Christian College of the Bible in a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours counting towards the degree program.
Exceptions:
Any student enrolled in a co-op program which requires the student to attend an off campus institution will receive payment to cover only those hours for which the student is enrolled at Central Christian College of the Bible. A student must, however, remain full-time between the two institutions to receive any award.
If the college is not offering at least twelve (12) hours counting towards a student’s bachelors degree program at Central Christian College of the Bible (sometimes occurring in one of the final two semesters of a student’s undergraduate program), the student will receive payment to cover the credit hours taken at Central Christian College of the Bible even if not enrolled in the minimum of twelve (12) credit hours.
- A student is eligible for the full-tuition scholarship for hours taken up to a maximum of 150% of the number of hours required for a single degree program. For example, if a degree program requires 120 hours, the student can be eligible for the full-tuition scholarship for up to 180 hours (consistent with the federal aid requirements). This cap includes the amount of hours a student has attempted at Central as well as all credit hours transferred.
- A student must make Satisfactory Academic Progress, as defined later in the Academic Policies section of this catalog.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Application materials should be submitted as soon as possible. Students who apply earlier are more likely to be accepted.
- In order to receive federal aid, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be completed as soon as the family’s tax returns for the previous year are filed. Central’s federal school code is 014619.
- You will be sent an award letter listing the aid being offered after your reservation fee has been received.
