American-Scandinavian Foundation Fellowships and Grants
March 6, 2008 – 3:59 pmFellowships of up to $20,000 support up to a year, and grants of approximately $4,000 support one to three months, of research, study, or creative work in one or more Scandinavian countries. SENIORS, GRADUATES, and GRADUATE STUDENTS may apply; must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must have an undergraduate degree in hand by the beginning of the award period. Some projects may require proficiency in the language of the host country; for other projects, proficiency may not be necessary but some ability in the language is desirable. Graduate students planning dissertation research are given priority for the fellowships, whereas the grants are considered especially suitable to graduating seniors and college graduates.
