Starting Date:  August 1, 2008 RESPONSIBILITIES: -  Teach and assist with direction and coordination of the battery percussion section of the Razorback Marching Band. -  Arrange music and technique development exercises for the battery section of the Razorback Marching Band.  -  Assist with teaching of undergraduate percussion majors and non-major applied lessons. -  Assist in coordination of percussion ensembles, including directing and arranging opportunities with steel band program. -  Perform in and assist in supervising the percussion sections of large performance ensembles. -  Assist with instruction of percussion methods courses. -  Assist in maintenance and inventory management of all percussion equipment. Scholarship's Program The scholarship program is managed by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center Foundation. Full Scholarships cover tuition, room & board for any weeklong, age-appropriate camp and are good for one year. Transportation and incidentals are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient. Scholarship applications for the 2009 cycle will be available in mid-September and will be due mid-December. We will announce our winners mid-March 2009. Scholarships for Fall 2008 & Spring 2009 Child Family Health International (CFHI) is offering half and full scholarships during 2008 and 2009. Scholarships are to be used toward the program fees for a CFHI programs. Scholarships to these programs are available during the following months only: September, October, November and December of 2008, February, March, April, May of 2009. CFHI does not have scholarships available during the months of June through August. Recipients of partial scholarships are responsible for the remaining balance of CFHI program fees.
